Professor Quentin Skinner on Hobbes

Those of you who were lucky enough to be at our Christmas lecture for 2006 will be delighted to have another chance to hear Quentin Skinner speak. And for those you you who weren’t there, don’t miss this!

Professor Skinner will deliver the annual BBC History Magazine Lecture at Queen Mary, University of London, on ‘Work and Image in the Philosophy of Hobbes’. The lecture is on 18 March and begins at 6:30 pm in the Skeel Lecture Theatre. The lecture will be followed by a reception and book launch for Skinner’s latest book Hobbes and Republican Liberty from Cambridge University Press.
