Early Modern Films at the BFI
Saturday, March 14th, 2009The British Film Institute (Southbank) is showing some films set in the early modern period. In Winstanley (1975, dir. Kevin Brownlow & Andrew Mollo) the Diggers try to plough common land and create the first commune in 1649 Surrey. The BFI is offering Winstanley as an extended run from 14 Mar to 19 Mar. See [...]
