Wellcome Collection Walks

The Wellcome Collection is offering a series of free guided walks on the theme of ‘Medical London’ this summer. The walks cover a variety of themes – plague, pox, physic gardens, and port life all feature – and all start and end at a Tube station.

You can find a list of available walks on the ‘Medical London’ website:
http://www.medicallondon.org/related_events.html

Places on the Wellcome Collection walks are free but must be booked in advance. Follow the links to book a place.

The walks are adapted from the book Medical London: City of Diseases, City of Cures which includes a gazetter and maps for those who want to do their own medical walks.

  1. The walks look wonderful but all seem to be booked out already. Perhaps we should lobby the Wellcome for repeats?
