Barry Coward Memorial Lecture – 12 February 2016

We are delighted to invite you to the Birkbeck Early Modern Society’s annual Barry Coward Memorial Lecture in honour of this fondly remembered Birkbeck Professor.

This year we are very pleased that Professor Daniel Szechi will give this year’s Barry Coward Memorial Lecture in the Birkbeck Malet Street Building (entrance Torrington Square), room B02 at 6.30pm.
The charge is £4 (non-members) or members free (annual membership £7)

Professor Szechi’s lecture is entitled ‘The Long Shadow of 1715. The Great Jacobite Rebellion in Jacobite Politics and Memory — a Preliminary Analysis’.

Unless otherwise specified the charge for each LECTURE event is: members free (membership £7), non-members £4, donations welcome.

IMPORTANT: We would prefer you to join the Early Modern Society ONLINE in advance. Membership costs £7. OR you may purchase an ONLINE non members ticket, price £4 if you just want to attend a lecture as a one off without joining.
